This page explains, in plain words, what RoutePulse stores, why, and who helps us run it. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Who runs RoutePulse

  • RoutePulse is run by Route Pulse, based in Oklahoma, United States. Questions or requests: staylor71@proton.me.

What we store when you use the planner

  • The addresses, deadlines, customer phone numbers, delivery dates and route names you save.
  • Stops you type but don't save are sent to our server to sort them and aren't added to your account. We keep a lookup cache of addresses and their map locations, not linked to anyone, so repeat lookups are faster.

Your account

  • Your email, name, language and a scrambled (hashed) password. We never see your actual password.
  • If you sign in with Google, we get your email and name from Google. We don't get your Google password.
  • If you ask to reset your password or confirm your email, we store a short-lived code.

Drivers and deliveries

  • A driver's GPS location, only while they turn on "Share my location". It's shown to the route owner and replaces the previous one.
  • Proof-of-delivery photos and signatures, and notes drivers add at each stop.
  • Driver accounts the route owner creates or invites (name and email).

Customers who get a tracking link

  • If a customer rates a delivery, we store the rating and any comment, and show them to the route owner. Ratings of 4 or 5 stars with a note are also shown to the driver as a thank-you. 5-star notes are emailed to the driver and shown on the team's Kudos Wall with the driver's first name.

Payments

  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • We keep your plan, amounts paid, dates and Stripe reference numbers so we can show your plan and send receipts.

Security and abuse prevention

  • We record IP addresses when you sign up, log in, start a trial or use a referral, to stop repeat free trials and fake referrals.
  • We set a device cookie so we can email you when your account signs in from a new device.

Emails we send

  • Account emails (codes, receipts, login alerts) and, if you're on a plan, trial reminders, daily summaries and one request for a short quote. You can turn off daily summaries in your account.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Needed to work: sign-in cookies (access_token, refresh_token) and the device cookie (rp_device).
  • In your browser only: your language, plan limit, unsaved route draft and referral code.
  • Consent: Cookiebot asks before any optional cookies are used. Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choice.

Services that help us run RoutePulse

  • Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (optional sign-in), Cookiebot (cookie consent), Usercentrics (privacy policy below), Emergent (hosting and file storage), OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, Photon and OSRM (maps, address lookup and driving distances).
  • Addresses are sent to the map services to find them and measure driving distances.

How long we keep it

  • We keep your account data while your account is open. Email staylor71@proton.me to get a copy of your data or to have your account and routes deleted.
